Hertz Fellow 2008, Paul Podsiadlo, is competing for the 2009 Quadrant Award for the best theses in the fields of :
“Materials and processes related to engineering and high-performance plastics and composites"
The award carries cash prizes for the top 3 places: 15,000 EUR (1st place), 7,000 EUR (2nd place), and 3,000 EUR (3rd place). The final judging round and the awards ceremony will take place on January 24th at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland.
