The West Coast in-school Hertz Fellows gathered for their 2nd annual scholars' retreat. The retreat was held at the Marconi Center located in Point Reyes, California. The retreat allows the Fellows to discuss their current research and forge relationships that will continue throughout their careers. Mike Montemerlo was the "Scientist in Residence" and presented his research on Robotic Technology. The group enjoyed many outdoor activities and discussions with Hertz Foundation Directors regarding ways to enhance the Fellowship program.
